I paint portraits. Portraits of things, portraits of people, portraits of parts of people. I love to find and flesh out the details that make each subject unique- in that attention is respect, honor, and love.
Also, I paint heirlooms. Every painting I produce is painted with the utmost care and attention to technique so that it will last generations. Not only can you enjoy your artwork, but with the proper care your great great grandchildren can enjoy a painting that meant something special to you.
Erin Hardin was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, grew up in Memphis, Tennessee, and has lived in the Birmingham, AL area since 1999. She holds a masters degree in counseling and spent several years working with children with autism. She began formal art training under DoriDeCamillis of Red Dot Gallery in Birmingham, AL in 2008 and developed a passion for oil paints. Since then she has had the honor of studying under many successful and talented artists including Terry Strickland and Katherine Stone. She feels that her many years working with autism has enabled her to see the world in a different way and credits that point of view with her interest in capturing the seemingly insignificant details of everyday life.
All paintings on this site were created using archival oil painting techniques.
All work on this website was created and is owned by Erin Hardin and may not be reproduced in any form without permission from the artist.
